Some background info regarding To Appomattox

We have kindly been sent a copy of the latest script for the mini-series and hopefully without overstepping any legal boundaries, we will be able to share some info in respect of the character that Billy is set to play, etc. Hopefully later this week.
As per the To Appomattox website, the character Billy will play is William Tecumseh Sherman (please also note the website also states the actors listed is “subject to making their deals” we do not know when the site was last updated). For all you history buffs out there who are interested in learning a little more about the character Billy will play, wikipedia has an extensive bio on William Sherman as well as information regarding the Battle of Appomattox Court.
