People Magazine have reported the following exciting news:
It’s a boy and a girl for William Petersen.
The CSI actor, 58, and wife Gina Cirone welcomed twins via surrogate on July 5 in Los Angeles, PEOPLE confirms.
The pair were born prematurely, Petersen’s rep says, but are steadily improving.
“The babies are doing great and are improving every day and we can’t wait for them to come home,” the couple, who married in July 2003, tell PEOPLE.

Why isn’t anyone congratulating Mrs. Petersen (Gina Cirone)? When women want kids and we find we can’t physically deliver, we get written off, a lot. So, yes, I’m sure her husband is thrilled; but I say, Congratulations, Gina Cirone!

I tried to “reply” but it didn’t work. What I mean is that this is “billypetersen.com” and all the postings online say “William Petersen welcomes twins.” Your site is better than the rest, but still, Gina is on the periphery. His wife is barely acknowledged in the gossip mags/rags.Even though it’s quite possible the twins are biologically hers, as well as her husband’s. I was offered this possiblilty when it became apparent I could become pregnant, but because of the horrendously fibroidic nature of my uterus, I could not possibly carry a pregnancy to conclusion. I just think she’s being short-changed. That’s all.

I feel for you Terry as my situation is similar.
Although Gina may not be mentioned much in the articles we can’t forget that it is Billy who is in the public eye, not his wife, and he will always be the focus of any article in the media that is about him, regardless of what the article is about. I really do not think it is about short-changing anyone, if Gina was the celeb, then she would’ve been the main focus in this case, whatever the private details of the surrogacy are.
