Nancy’s Fan Meet
Following a matinee performance of Endgame on June 2, 2010, along with 2 other theater-goers, I was fortunate enough to meet William Petersen. He was pleasant and charming, and was willing to chat and pose with us for pictures, even though he had just finished a performance. Additionally, he even autographed my Program! I thought that the Play was wonderful (and I admit that I’m prejudiced!), but having the opportunity to meet him in person was a dream come true. I’m sure that Mr. Petersen has met thousands of fans over the years, and that he may even tire of it from time to time, but he couldn’t have been more gracious to us with his time and his conversation. For him, no doubt it was just another fan meeting, but to me, it was something that I’ll always remember and treasure. So, to Mr. Petersen, I want to say a great big “thank you” for being so considerate to your fans – it is very, very much appreciated.
