After a rather long delay ‘To Live & Die in LA’ has finally been released on Blu Ray this week and is available to purchase from Amazon.com by clicking on the link below.

In other news, Billy was quoted in a recent Chicago Tribune article regarding the new Richard Christiansen Theater at Victory Gardens.

“Richard was the one guy who most influenced my career,” said Petersen, who cut his teeth on the Chicago stage and who described making booze-aided, nocturnal trips down to Tribune Tower and begging for someone on the loading dock to throw him a copy of the paper with the Christiansen review.

“It wasn’t just that he made other people believe I was a better actor,” Petersen said. “He made me believe I was a better actor.”

To Live and Die in LA was due to be released back in June this year. This has now been rescheduled to February 2nd 2010 according to High Def Digest.

In SAG news Variety, The Hollywood Reporter and the Membership First blog reported that Billy hosted a Membership First Fundraiser along with Melissa Leo this past Wednesday in LA. Click on the links above for further information regarding the SAG negotiations.

The Jacksonville Observer reports the following:

GONE, BUT NOT FORGOTTEN: “CSI’s” George Eads admits, “I miss Billy desperately,” speaking of the show’s longtime leading man, William Petersen. During shooting of this past season, he recalls, Petersen “came by the set to visit with some family members. He looked at me, put up his dukes and said, ‘Boy, I’ll knock you out.’” He sighs. “That’s life, isn’t it? Sometimes our experience with someone is brief. Everything is so temporary. It’s been nice, though, to have someone come on that I so admire,” he adds, referring to Laurence Fishburne. “I learn as much as I can from him.”
