Billy was recently interviewed by Chris Jones, the Chicago Tribune Theatre Critic about his upcoming play, THE MINUTES.
So what’s this play about?
“It’s about us. ‘Us’ being America. This is who we are. You decide. You decide who you want to be,” he says.
On a more granular level?
“It’s a city council meeting,” he says. “You know we’re just sitting at tables? We’re all onstage the whole time. We can’t even get through some of the stuff right now. It’s a light, frothy thing on the page, but on the stage? Wow.”
