Waiting impatiently for mine to get here. You can bet it will be popped in the CD player immediately!
My CD arrived and it is wonderful! Having attended two fortieth class reunions in June (my college and my husband’s high school) and suffering through two plant closings in Ohio, I felt that Mr. Sweet hit the emotional jackpot in “Flyovers”. But what’s he got against Ohio State? As for the performances, it is easy to picture Marc Vann’s smarmy smiles and Billy’s smirks and innocent “who me?” expressions. There were a few pauses without dialog but with lots of audience laughter that I would love to have seen. Both actresses were excellent as well, but I’ve never seen them act before.
THAT was delightful! We’ve all know people like Ray, whether on the receiving end of the bullying or watching. I would love to have been able to see this live, I’ll take it on audio though. “If you’re in my organizer you’re automatically Jewish. The Yamaka will be in the mail, allow 10 days for delivery” Ha!
