Entertainment Weekly’s, Lynette Rice has the latest scoop on an upcoming CSI episode that will most likely air in February.
Get ready for the mother of all CSI episodes, because we’re about to meet Gil Grissom’s long lost mother!
You can read the full article here on the EW website. As a side note, the article states Billy will not be appearing in this episode.
Regarding William Petersen’s upcoming movie ‘Detachment’, despite several movie websites predicting the film would do well if it was shown at the Sundance Film Festival in January, it is not listed in their completed movies announcement of December 1st. IMDB still has the movie listed as being in post-production.
Lastly, after checking our site stats we have noticed a few of our visitors are still using Internet Explorer 6 to browse our site and no doubt the rest of the web. We can’t stress enough how important it is to upgrade to the latest version, or better still pick a different browser completely such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Apple’s Safari. IE6 is prone to various security risks, as well as many other faults, so if you are still using this browser, it really is worth upgrading.
I really thought Grissom’s mother was dead. Remember the episode where the man killed a woman & hung her on a cross in a church? Her neck had bruises on it made from him jerking her rosary off her neck; Grissom went to his office and got a rosary and took it back to the morgue to compare the bruises. He told Sara the rosary “was” his mother’s. I’m not Catholic, but I don’t think she would’ve given her rosary away to her son or anyone else if she were still alive. Am I alone in thinking this meant she had died and he just hadn’t told anyone (as Grissom always does)?
He should come back! at leat for a cameo or a voice recording or something…
It won;t be complete without him there!! 🙁
I can’t wait for the episode, but I really hope Billy comes back soon! 😛
No you are not alone! and, what’s up with this “Grissom’s mother is a teacher of deaf students who lives in Vegas” stuff? For 11 years, she has been the owner of an art gallery in Southern California, and now all of a sudden she’s a teacher? I mean, do the writers even read the back story stuff that the network has put out?
1) In the Catholic religion one can pass on a rosary to a person when said person is moving on to something challenging in life that could challenge his fait. A mother could give a rosary to a son when lets say he left the church moved to the city of sin and became a scientist.
2) The spoilers never once said she lived in Vegas, she could just be a temporary professor at the deaf college, and not live there at all.
3) Those backstories posted on the csiwiki were never confirmed, remember its not true until it hits the screen. If you recall Grissom’s father, according the same folks that claimed Grissom’s mom had an art gallery, was a trader with communist in China, and had walk out on the family when Grissom was five, but we now know the truth is that he was a taught botany at a college dying on a couch when Grissom was 9.
All in all, I do agree it would benive if WP did a voice over phone call somehting. I just can’t see how his mother ex girlfriend and his wife are in the same place, somehow involved with the same case, but he has no communication with them.
