As it is the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War next year, the projected air date for ‘To Appomattox’ is for early April 2011.  (Please note this could change).

Edited to add April 2011 is the projected start date of production, not the air date.  Please see our update January 20th 2011 for further information.

   Date we was given was April 2011.

   If my history is correct, the American Civil War began on April 12, 1861.

   The only reason I’m questioning that there may be a typo somewhere is that they aren’t even starting filming until “this spring” which would be April 2011. So, its hard to see how they could be ready for “air time” so soon!

   Filming may start earlier, it may air later, as said above, the dates could change. However, April 2011 was the ‘projected’ date because of the anniversary.
