We have had several comments and emails regarding the locations that are to be used for the mini-series.   We understand from our source that the locations that are currently being looked at are PA, NC & GA, with some scenes in Canada.

Our source has also updated us on the Projected Date mentioned in our previous update.   The April 2011 Projected Date is not the air date, we know this date was confusing to many and seemed very rushed.

April 2011 is the projected start date of production, the projected air date is to coincide with the 150^th Anniversaries of Gettysburg & Vicksburg.  Our source sends apologies for getting their wires crossed with that one.

   Have seen a few articles online referring to the country stars involved with the mini-series mentioning HBO, but last we heard it was still unconfirmed although that was a few weeks back.

   I would imagine with the various anniversaries coming up and the great cast, producers, writing, etc, there may be some competition amongst the networks for this one.

   I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
