According to Marg Helgenberger when interviewed by French magazines, TV Mag and Télé Star recently, yes he will.

I don’t want a teary goodbye. I want it to be dramatic and mysterious. All I can tell you is that William Petersen promised to return so Grissom will be there for Catherine when she leaves. He’ll be there in the first episodes.

   I have the hope that is true. I think Billy will be presente for the start of Marg, taking into account the great friendship that unites them.

   Sorry for the double post. Apologies in advance if this is not the place to mention but,on the website of the Tv. guide magazine, in the Photo Gallery and under the title “BRING THESE TV. CHARACTERS BACK”, is a list of 12 others characters we want our favorite shows to resurrect and among them is Gil Grissom.

   I hope he comes back, it would be amazing if there was a way it worked out. I don’t feel it would be right for Marg to exit and Billy wasn’t there to be a part of it.
