Billy sang the 7th inning stretch at the Cubs v Reds game this past monday night (August 12th).

Billy’s SLOWGIRL co-star Rae Gray also shared a great image and video from the night.

As usual, Billy did a great job singing the stretch. He sure loves the Theater, Chicago and those Cubbies! It was interesting to hear him talk about how he got his start in acting and how performing on Stage is different than on a soundstage. He described working in the Theater as being able to tell a story from start to finish with each performance, and share the experience with the audience, in contrast to working in television or the movies, where actors don’t film in sequence and where they don’t see the finished product for months afterwards, and they may not even know what they’ve produced until it airs. I hadn’t thought about television and movies in that way before – it was an intersting insight. He also complimented Rae Gray on her acting abilities and said they have about 3 more weeks of performances. As usual, it was fun seeing him sing the stretch and chat with the Broadcasters.
