Friedkin Uncut – Documentary

Billy was interviewed for the William Friedkin documentary, FRIEDKIN UNCUT early in 2018.

Filmmaker Francesco Zippel offers an introspective insight into the life and artistic journey of William Friedkin, the director of acclaimed films such as “The French Connection,” “The Exorcist,” and “Sorcerer.”

Variety reported that the TaTaTu network bought the rights to show the documentary last year, but as yet, we have not seen it on this service. However, we do understand that the documentary will be released very soon as negotiations are ongoing with networks.

I do believe it has been shown in Italy on Sky Arte very recently, so Italian fans, keep your eyes open for that one.

The documentary features a whole host of big names including Matthew McConaughey, Quentin Tarantino and Francis Ford Coppola to name a few.

This great photo of Billy was taken during the interview.
