FAN LETTER PROJECT 2021 – 20 YEARS OF BILLYPETERSEN.COM

This Fan Letter Project has now finished, we are no longer accepting any further messages.
As previously mentioned in our Celebrating 20 years on the Internet post, this website has been running for two decades!
We will be celebrating in the following ways.
Billypetersen.com will be making a donation to charity and/or organization in Billy’s name and for our visitors we wanted to create a fan letter project for you to participate in.
We have chosen this project based on a lot of the messages we have been sent over the last two years, in particular how the pandemic has impacted your lives in some way. We have been truly touched by many of the messages we have received. For us, knowing just that the site existing helped many of you get through some difficult times really means the world to us.
Also hearing how Billy played a part in getting some of you through the pandemic as well has been lovely to read, and we thought it would be nice for him to see some of your messages.
So, all you need to do is fill in the form below with your message to Billy. The letters will be collated and sent to him all together.
To confirm we are not promising any responses, we are just providing a vehicle for you to share a letter with him.
If English is not your native language, we will rely on Google Translate in those instances.
Everyone who submits a message below will then be entered into a “giveaway”, where we will select three of you using a random generator to receive a gift, regardless of where you are located in the world. Please ensure you input the correct email address as this will be how we contact you.
A few simple rules:
- Please only use the form below, if you send us messages via social media, they will not be included.
- Please only submit ONE message.
- No Fan Fiction.
- Keep it clean.
- No Autograph requests, this is not the purpose of this project, visit our FAQs on how to request one.
If you want to write but not sure what to say, here are some ideas:
Introduce yourself, who you are and where you are from, share when you first encountered his work.
Perhaps a character or film/tv series inspired you in relation to your job. Did you take up acting? Are you studying or working in Forensics?
Maybe just watching some of his DVDs has helped you get through the pandemic in some way.
Even something as simple as how excited you were for the return of Gil Grissom in CSI: Vegas.
All in all, keep it short and sweet, it should be no longer than a page.
