Beyond Fest 2025 Tribute to William Petersen

On Saturday, 27 September 2025, Beyond Fest and the American Cinematheque hosted a heartfelt and elegant tribute to actor William Petersen at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. The event celebrated his iconic roles in To Live and Die in L.A. and Manhunter, featuring screenings of both films followed by in-person Q&A sessions with Billy himself.
Beyond Fest is known for combining genre cinema with special events, premieres, and retrospectives. This year’s lineup included several tributes to cinema legends, and Billy’s inclusion was no exception.
Attendees got to view the films in their restored glory and then engage in deep conversation with Billy about his experiences.
