In late 1979, Billy and several theater friends created the REMAINS THEATER. Their first production was THE TOWER a one-act play by Peter Weiss, which opened on December 2nd, 1979. Other early productions by the theater include FAMILY SNAPSHOT by Elizabeth LeCompte and Spaulding Gray and SEDUCED by Sam Shepherd.
